Monday blues are different at The Art Ghar exactly like our dearest blue fish. While most

people start their work week from Mondays, for us it is the day of the week where we

prepare ourselves and our home to welcome you all throughout the week. It’s a reset for our

team after a week of witnessing beautiful stories unwrap at each table of our abode.

Rightly said by the founder; Monday is a “blank canvas day” and each one of us use it as per

our liking. While some of us like to enjoy slow Monday mornings others love to skip an

alarm for Monday morning and sleep until the afternoon. The discoverer of the “blank

canvas day” takes the big canvas out to unleash the artist in her and justify her vision behind

the beautiful space she has created.

The only day of the week when the doors of The Art Ghar are closed because clearly we

take our rest days very seriously which is perhaps also the day of our weekly maintenance.

Another thing which we take very seriously is the cleanliness in each corner of our home.

Our hearts do a little dance when someone comes up to us and takes a moment to

appreciate how we’ve kept each corner of the place quirky clean. Trust us when we say that

we pay more attention to it compared to anything else. Everything else can wait but the

dust needs to be blown off, the moment it is seen. Each corner in the space is deep cleaned

on Mondays by our wonderful care taking team. We refill our weekly groceries, prepare our

kitchen for the week.

We love to leave everything on Mondays. Be it catching up with friends, going for a little shopping spree or our favourite of Monday team lunches. As much as we love to host & serve we love to eat and I think we’ve lived long enough with each other that our food choices have found a common ground. We’re always excited to try newly opened places in Jaipur but nothing can ever beat a bowl of tadka Maggi at our favourite place.

If you ever mistakenly drop by our door and find it closed, wave a to our

three dogs because they’re always there to greet you with their wagging tails.

A home is never left unattended!
